HP KS523AA USB TV Tuner Review
I shopped around many places to find myself the HP TV tuner. I found it cheapest here on amazon, and I was pleased with the product once I got it. However, it does not come with a cable cord and unless you have wireless cable in your house (I don’t have that and I don’t know how to get that) then you will have to buy one, which runs at about .
After I bought that cable, I hooked up the tv tuner by connecting the cable directly to the TV tuner. I now can watch TV directly on my laptop and it is good. The quality is not HD, as I expected it to be, but it is good.
There are a couple of minor problems with it, but they are really more like annoyances than problems. Firstly, the USB TV tuner doesn’t stay in the USB port very well. It wouldn’t be a problem except I like to sit with my laptop on my lap and when ever I move, it starts to come out. Secondly, the channels don’t label. You know, FOX USA DISNEY CHANNEL, that stuff does not show up, just the channel number which is annoying because I just moved and don’t have the channels memorized yet.
But other than those few minor problems I would reccomend this product.
