I have a 15″ MacBook Pro, and this bag is the perfect size to hold my laptop, a few folders, my graphing calculator and a few other small items.
I absolutely love this bag, but it does have a major draw back.

Pros:
Light weight- This bag weighs less than any laptop backpack I’ve had.
Plenty of pockets- Three zippered/Velcro pockets outside and three pockets, two pencil holders and two credit card slots inside
Durable- I always stuff bags, my swiss gear backback ripped; this bag still looks like new
Comfortable Shoulder Strap- as long as you don’t overfill the bag, the strap feels secure and lays comfortably across your body

Con:
Narrow- Binders past 1/2″ don’t fit and you might be able to fit one hard cover textbook with your laptop, but nothing else significant like a graphing calculator.

The pros far out way the con, but it is difficult to get around not having a lot of space in the bag. If you are willing to carry your textbooks in your arms, you’ll have plenty of space for a small binder or folders with your laptop and other essentials. If you keep the contents of the bag flat you’ll be surprised how much you can fit. I would not suggest this bag to you if you have a bulky laptop or extra cells in your battery.

The Belkin Notebook Sleevetop is a handy item that does the job. It’s nothing fancy but for someone who moves their laptop with them everywhere they go it’s a good product.
Negatives: it does get dirty and doesn’t clean up well. As one other reviewer said, you won’t want to use this for meetings as it is tall when open and hard to see over. My laptop does get hot sitting on this. There’s not much of a ridge/riser on the bottom half to allow air to circulate.
Positives: easily fits a 15in laptop. Easy to zip up and the handle makes it functional as a carrier. It’s pretty good looking and very light weight.
